Pre-Race Pasta Dinner Registration
Come and dine with your fellow team mates as we prepare run to remember our fallen heroes and celebrate their lives! Friends and family are welcome to join!
The Run and Remember Team is looking for volunteers to help make our MCM weekend a success! We will need help in many areas, including the expo, the kids fun run, tent, etc. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping during MCM weekend, please register below. Any and all help will be much appreciated!

Runners will need an 'e-card' in order to receive their runner packet form the MCM. All runners will receive an email from the MCM with this printable e-card by Oct. 15th. If by the 15th you have not received this e-mail, you will need to call the MCM office at 703-784-2225 or 703-784-2226. They will be able to give you your confirmation number that you will use to download and print your e-card from their website (www.marinemarathon.com).
Runners will pick up their runner packets, which includes your bib and chip, at the MCM Expo at the DC Convention Center. Runners will also need to pick up their TAPS singlet and singlet photo at the Run and Remember Team expo booth. Our booth will be right across from the Clif bar exhibitor area.
The hours of the MCM Expo are 9:00am to 7:00pm on Friday and Saturday. The TAPS booth will be open 9:00am-7:00pm on Friday and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday. (After 5:00pm, the singlets will be available at the DoubleTree hotel in Crystal City.)
The DC Convention Center is located at 801 Mount Vernon Place, NW, Washington, DC. It is very accessible by Metro - to get there via Metro, take the yellow or green Metro lines to the Mt. Vernon Square/7th Street station.
Transportation To and From the Race
Marathon:
- If using Metro, Marathon runners should use the Pentagon Station (blue or yellow line) to enter Runner's Village in the Pentagon North Parking lot and pre-race UPS Baggage Drop off. Arlington Cemetery (blue line) may be used for easy access to the start for spectators and those runners not utilizing pre-race support in Runners Village.
- There will be free shuttles provided by the MCM to Runners Village at 23rd Street and Crystal Drive in Crystal City. There are also be some parking near this area if you are driving.
- For those staying at the DoubleTree hotel, you can easily walk from the hotel to Runners Village at the Pentagon North Parking lot.
10k: The most convenient means to arrive at the MCM10K start is the Metro with the Smithsonian station (blue/orange line) being located directly at the start. The Metro system opens at 5 a.m. on Marathon morning. There is no shuttle service to the MCM10K nor is there any designated MCM10K parking location, as road closures for the marathon will affect the area surrounding the course.
-For runners staying at the DoubleTree, we will have volunteers that will guide you to the nearest Metro station.
Kids Fun Run:Parking is available at Hayes Street parking lot located at the intersection of Joyce Street and Army/Navy Drive in front of Macy's. The Pentagon Metro Station provides the easiest access to the Healthy Kids Fun Run. Shuttle services are available from the Hayes Street parking lot and the Pentagon Metro Station to the Healthy Kids Fun Run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
For families who are staying at the DoubleTree, TAPS will provide a shuttle from the hotel to the race.

Tip: For those using the Metro, buy your metro ticket the day before the race as it will be very crowded.
Run and Remember Team Finish Line Tent
The Run and Remember Team has a tent at the Finish Line of the MCM in an area what is called Charity Village, near the bell tower. All are welcome, runners, family and friends, to come and hang out before and after the race. We will also provide food and beverages. For friends and family who are coming to cheer you on, they are welcome to come to the tent during the race.
Our team photo will also take place after the race approximately at 2:30pm at the tent.

Sunday, Oct. 25:
6:00am On-the-Go Breakfast at the DoubleTree Hotel
8:00am Marathon and 10k
(TAPS will have a shuttle from the tent area to the DoubleTree)
7:00am-3:00pm TAPS Run and Remember Team Tent, TAPS Photo at 2:30pm.
